The first time I saw my book was on January 19th, 2024 when I received a box of books to sign for a bookstore. I didn't get to keep any of them, but my box of books soon came in the mail. The scent of new paper and ink coming out of that box was mesmerizing, and I'll never forget how excited I was about the softness of the colors, which were so much brighter and shiny in the galley.
